Narration and music on PP

Insert a MIDI sound as a background score - this should allow almost any
system to use WAV (or MP3s) for narration since both sound file formats use
separate sound streams.

This will indeed allow background music behind your narration.

My PP program is complete with narration, what program do I use to add MIDI? How do you add another sound stream in PP? How do you create or where do I find a MIDI sound?

Use google.com and search for midi and you'll get lots of possibilities.

Use Insert > Movies and Sounds > Sound from File to add your midi to a
slide. To play across multiple slides see:
Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)
