narration problems in power point

I want to add a seperate voice recoding to run across all slides as a
narrative.
The presentation must work as an auto run slide show and I want to startthe
narration at the same time, automatically.
Is this possible?

Record the narrative as a wav file

On the first slide slideshow > slide transition

In sounds scroll right down to other sound and navigate to your wav

OK out and your done!

Would you mind elaborating on the difference between the record narravtion
option under slide show and the WAV file you are referring to. I have a PP
show that I would like to add narration to and have is run automatically
slides and sound once the slide show is started. I have been recording with
record narravtion to mixed results, including no sound, sound that is cut off
during animation and transistions or malfunctioning transistions and
animations.
