narration recording problem

Hi,

I am having a problem recording a narration for one of my powerpoint
presentations. I use PP2003 on my Windows XP PC. I have the same problem
with my Mac. When I record a narration it records OK up to a point, but it
is never complete. Each time I change a slide some of the narration is
clipped out. This happens regardless of whether I manually advance the
slides or using timing. It also happens when I embed the sound or use a
linked file. Needless to say there is no point in having a narration if a
large part is deleted. Please help. Thanks. Tom
