Navigator Pane at Startup

I'm using Outlook 2003 and have it set to open the calendar folder at startup. My question is about the display in the navigator pane. It displays one small navigation calendar and the expanded folder list beneath it. The navigator pane doesn't display all its navigator calendars until I click on the calendar button, then the folder list is replaced by the calendar navigator pane. I know it can start up with the calendar navigator pane because it used to. I changed something, but don't know what

Thanks
Kevin
