Need Advice on Message Rules Wizard in Outlook 2002

Since I have upgraded from Outlook Express to Outllok 2002, everything works
fine execpt the "Message Rules".

Here is what I want it to do:

1) Look for certain keywords/symbols in only the SUJBECT line
2) If it finds a match, to NOT download the message from the server and to
DELETE the message from the server.

Can someone please help me out with this? All those extra options are
making it a bit confusing for me. All I know is that it's not working.
I've sent numerous emails to this account from others, and everything gets
through...

Thanks!

Rules can only be processed on messages when they are received or when they
are sent, so afaik, you will not be able to not download the message and
have Outlook delete it from the pop server. You will have to create a rule
that deletes messages after they are downloaded if they meet your criteria.
This may be different in OL2003, as I know it has some features where it
just grabs e-mail header info instead of the whole e-mails, if you'd like it
to do that.

Ray,

How can I then set up Outlook 2002 that it download the new messages (from
server), check the subject line against the keywords and if there is any
match, to put it into the "Spam" folder? Otherwise, the message goes to
the "InBox"

Thanks
