Need help desperately

Hi there,

I was trying to transfer my entourage emails from a iBookG4 to a new mac
computer.

When I tried exporting under file, it says: there was a problem saving one
of your message. Your office database may be damaged. Start the database
utility to verify your database. Import incomplete.

I then tried rebuilding database utility, which was successfully. I tried
to export entourage again.

When I loaded my entourage on my old computer again, I realized that
everything was gone and I tried import from the Main Identity.rge file which
was exported successfully, there were only a small amount of messages in my
inbox. The rest of the messages and all messages in my other boxes
including the ones I created are all gone.

I desperately need your help. Can I still undo what was done to restore to
the original state of my old entourage email system. Can not afford to lose
my emails and contacts.

When you rebuild your old data is stored in your Identity as "old".
Duplicate the Identity and rename so you will know which contains the
original database. Delete the database file (one that was rebuilt), then
remove the "old" from the name of the original and Entourage should be back
to the rebuild state.

Old files are named:

Entourage 2004: "Old Database"

Entourage X: "Old Database Cache" and "Old Database"

Entourage 2001: "Old Database Cache", "Old Database", and "Old Messages." In
addition, Database (Rebuild) Cache is retained.

If this is successful, export your contact data as a tab delimited file and
drag your folders to the desktop as MBOX files. Subfolders will need to be
dragged also.
