Need help exporting calendar info from iCal

Michael Trauffer

Hello.

I am currently using Entourage version 10.4.1 for Mac. Up until recently,
I've been using iCal. I switched to Entourage because of its ease of
integration. However, iCal will let me import data from Entourage, but I
want to do the opposite. It will only export files with a .ics extension.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My system: iBook G4, 1GHz, 640 MB ram, running OS X v. 10.3 (Panther)

When Entourage X was released (just in time for OS 10.1), I don't think iCal
even existed. That's why there are no importers.

But I think you can Export events from iCal to your hard disk - as .ics
files - then do a Get Info on the files and Open With Entourage. If you do a
"Change All" then all the .ics files should appear now with Entourage icons
and can just be dragged into Entourage rather than having to be
double-clicked individually.
