Need help in PROJECTS - Can't delete old projects

So, I've been using the project feature for about a year and love it, but I would really like to know how to delete old projects without deleting related files, emails and contacts. I use my old emails quite a bit and cannot afford to have them archived in an .rge file. Is there a way to get the project off my projects list without deleting the components of that project?

You might ask on the Entourage talk list. There are several heavy project
