Need more memory or system resources

Getting an error titled Mail "You need more memory or
system resources. Close some windows and try again. OK"
on my Win2k SP4 w/Outlook 2002 SP2 pc when I try to open
the Mail icon in the Control Panel. Have tried copying
mapi.dll and mapi32.dll files from an identical pc that
works fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
