Neither journal note writer nor image writer print when logged in.

Virtual printer

I have loaned my laptop to my nephew. I created him as a 'limited' user he
tried to print to both Jouranl Note Witer and MS Office Image Writer and
nothing happened. No erroe emssages nothing. He logged in with administrator
rights and it worked, flawlessly. I tried to set permissions for these
virtual printers and there was no way to do it. How do I work around this?
