Netbarrier anti-spywear and Entourage (Office 2004)

Hi:

A rather technical questions about my anti-spy wear software and its
behavior when checking my email.

I use Netbarrier X4 and have it set to deny any internet connections I have
not authorized.

I use Entourage from Office 2004 for my email. When I go to get or send
email, I get a warning that "LaunchCFMApp" is trying to make an internet
connection. However, a search does not find an application called
LaunchCFMApp, and so I can't add it to the trusted list.

From a LaunchCFMApp crash log, I see that LaunchCFMApp is a command issued
by Parent: WindowServer [70]. And, of course, I see no application with
that name either. The obvious, adding Entourage itself to the list of
applications permitted to connect does not help.

How do I get Netbarrier to learn this is an authorized connection?

Thanks

By the way, here's what I've found out about LaunchCFMApp

Use LittleSnitch instead of Netbarrier and you won't have this problem:

<http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch>

And neither will I have all of the features of NetBarrier.

Obviously, if I stop using a product, I won't have the problem of using the
product. But why not recommend as a solution using an universal application
like Apple's Mail instead of Entourage?

I could just stop using this one feature of NetBarrier and use littlesnitch
instead, as I used to. However, I prefer the NetBarrier approach to the
anti-spywear protection and have no reason to stop using it except for this
one problem. And I prefer not to use two applications when one should do.
And I don't find Mail to be as fully featured as Entourage.

So, anyone have a way to get NetBarrier learn this is an authorized
connection?
