Please can you tell me what is the Network Diagram mainly used for?

Hello jackie,

The network diagram view is simply another graphic view of a project
plan. Many find it useful when you wish to focus on the relationships
between tasks which can be more challenging in a Gantt chart. I
personally use the Relationships diagram as the lower portion of a
split view more frequently than I use a full screen Network diagram
view.

Hello

I use it primarily to make sure that I have all links in my schedule, that
all tasks, except summary lines, are linked, and to look for false links.
If you search this newsgroup for "Schedule Continuity" you'll find more
details. I think it is a very underused view in project. If people
understood scheduling better, they'd use the ND more.
