I have noticed an interesting phenomenon in Entourage 2004 that _may_
explain some of the problems that I've read about on the newsgroup.
Specifically, I was having problems sending email (Error 111), especially
with larger messages. I also got the "(not connected)" text next to my
Exchange account for long periods of time. There was also other odd
behavior, such as new messages not showing up right away and sent messages
not showing up in the Sent Messages folder for hours at a time.
All this occurred while I was connected to our network with a wireless
(802.11g) connection. When I connected directly with a wired 100 Mbps
Ethernet connection, the problems suddenly went away.
I have to wonder if some of these problems are bandwidth or latency related?
It would sure explain my experience
Overall the new Entourage 2004 is a nice piece of Mac software!
