=NETWORKDAYS("09/01/04", "09/30/04", "09/06/04")
=NETWORKDAYS("09/01/04", NOW()-1, "09/06/04")

I have the above formulaes in two different cells on a
worksheet. On my computer, they work fine. But, on
another computer, the 1st works fine, but, the other gives
an error. i do not understand...i am using the same
function!!!!!!!!!

on my machine the first one gives an error as i have different regional
settings to you and the date 09/30/04 doesn't exist for me ... could it be a
regional settings problem?

it might also be worth checking that the system clock is correct on the
second machine
