hello,
i'm new at using a database with frontpage. i've used
frontpage for a while though. i've searched for something
like a tutorial for using databases, but to no avail. i
am helping a friend with a webpage. he wants to start a
VA (Virtual Airline) and he doesn't know anything about
webpages and coding. i said i would do it, and i thought
using a database for storing pilot names, IDs, hours,
ranks, and stuff like that would be easier than anything
else. if one person or a couple people can collaborate on
a way to teach me what to do to make it work. the website
will have a page where the pilot will submit their hours
flown for that flight they were scheduled for, and have a
page to show all the pilots active how many hours, and
their ranks and stuff. i have a database started with a
table and form, but no query. also, if the page is going
to show the pilots, how can i have it not show inactive
pilots? thanks for anybody who helps me and reads this
very lengthy post.
