JoAnn, does Publisher save to a word file, or putting it another way, can I
open a Publisher file with Word.
I can get access to Publisher to create a card, but when I go to print I'll

No, you can't open a Pub file with Word - but you could convert it to a .pdf
file. ;-)

Your printer will appreciate a PDF more than a Word document anyway, so
that's a good thing!
