New Connection Wizard keeps appearing

I use Outook Express solely for newsgroup access, so I've configured a
shortcut that launches Outlook Express with the "/outnews" switch. I've
been using this for a year without incident.

In the last few weeks, I've been presented with the New Connection Wizard
every time I launch Outlook Express. I've made quite a few changes in group
policy in the last few weeks (not all of them intentional), so it may well
be a GPO setting that's causing this. However, I can't track it down.

All clients are configured via DHCP with their TCP/IP settings, Internet
Explorer is set to "Never dial a connection" and "LAN Settings" options are
all deselected and blank. Opening IE or any other internet-aware program
does not cause the Wizard to appear; only Outlook Express does this.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

Never mind; I found a GPO setting that would let me disable the Internet
Connection Wizard on the Internet Settings control panel. So far it seems
to have solved the problem; I'll post again if it turns out otherwise.

Cheers,

Bryan
