New Mail Envelope not appearing in the systray anymore

The envelope that should appear in the systray each time a new e-mail enters
is not appearing anymore.
It did appear before.

running outlook 2002 (xp)

Got it:
Start the registry editor (regedit.exe). Navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences

and set the key "ShowEnvelope" to 1
