The new mail icon from the bottom taskbar next to the clock has gone missing from a colleague. We are both running Outlook 2000, and have tried Tools-> Options-> tab Preferences-> button E-mail Options...-> button Advanced E-mail Options...-> option Show an envelope in the notification area but only have two options of when new mail arrives change the curser or play a sound. I have the icon but hers stopped working last week.
Trying Start-> Control Panel-> Taskbar and Start Menu-> button Customize doesn't work either as in the general tab i don't have an envelope. in advanced, customize start menu, advanced just brings up the file manager to put things in my start menu. I can't see where my icon is turned on to check that it's turned on in my collegues computer.
