New mail notification.

Until the last couple of days I got a notification superimposed on the
Entourage icon in my "dock" when new mail arrived. This no longer happens.

Can anyone advise how I can reinstate it. I have checked preferences and all
seems to be in order.

The notification only appears when Entourage is not the frontmost
application.

It can be turned on or off globally in the preferences, or fired for
individual messages by rules.
