New meetings not showing up tenatively

I am used to Outlook displaying meeting requests that
have not been processed (accepted, rejected, whatever) as
tenative. I recently installed Outlook on several
machines and it is not behaving this way on the new
installs. Does any one know how or where this behavior
is controlled?
