Are you sure you're not thinking of Project 2003? That version has a
'New Project' panel on the left side of the screen. If you are talking
about the 'View Bar' on the left side of the screen in Project 2000,
then simply right click you mouse on the thick blue line on the left
side of the screen or go to View/View Bar.
