Newsgroups in Entourage

Is there a way to configure the Newsgroup settings so that I get a mail
notification each time I receive a response to a post that I made? I mean,
other than setting up individual rules for each post?

Unfortunately, no, Or not easily. There is no "Specific header" (or even
"Any header" criterion filter on News rules, otherwise you could filter on
the "References" header containing <[email protected]> (and exclude your
own messages too). So the only way would be to make an applescript that
checked for that in the headers, which is more complicated, and then
forwards those messages to messages to your email address, and Run
AppleScript on all messages, along with a schedule that downloads news
messages automatically

**2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions
otherwise.

Thanks. Again, this seems like a common sense tool that most Newsgroup
readers would want, no?

Is there a way to make the developers at Microsoft aware of this need?

Appreciate your responses, by the way. Overall, I really like Entourage...
