How do you combine and decode mpg and mov files within newsgroups when
multiple file are used?

Entourage doesn't combine and decode. It is only fot text not binaries.
Get yourself a real newsreader. There are several for Mac OSX.

Entourage's news reading capabilities are limited. They are enough for your
normal posting, threading, receiving, and you can even make rules to
messages to simulate news-reader type "follow thread" etc. This is all many
people need.

If you require more than that, than I suggest trying out many of the
dedicated news-readers available. Look here for a pretty large compilation
of Mac OS X news-readers available:

When I need more complex news-reader functions, I turn to Unison. You can
check that out at:
<http://www.panic.com/unison/>

There is a 15 day trial period, after which favorites are disabled and a 10
minute limit is imposed.
