Next slide is VERY slow to appear, (>15 seconds).

I've just added a slide to my production which contains two images derived
from video frames. That slide takes an extended amount of time (>15 seconds)
to appear when the spacebar or mouse is clicked and may require several
clicks.

Any help appreciated!

Did you add any custom animation before and on the current slide? Pressing
enter/spacebar once will advance to the next slide. If you have add any
custom animation(with "Start: On click"), you will need to press
enter/spacebar again.

Click Slide show > Custom Animation. See if you have added custom animation
at the 2nd slide with the start as On click(check the first added effect).

Go back to the 1st slide. See if you have custom animation with the start as
On click(check the last added effect).

If you did, change "On click" to "After previous". Also check the speed of
the animation. If it is too slow, adjust it to a faster speed.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your response!

The previous slide did have custom animation, (bullet points that were set
to fade in with a click). Somehow, I duplicated all 8 lines of the animation
routine, so that the click after the last line appeared, (the one that I
expected to advance the slide) simply surreptitiously reactivated the
existing first bullet point. There were 8 bullet points. Now I realize why
the 9th click finally advanced the slide!

Thanks again!

I've been trying to have my text fade in line by line. Up to know I have only
been able to have the text fade in in its entirity.
Can someone tell me how to have the text fade in line by line each time I
left click the mouse?
Thanks!
