When is the next version of Office for Windows set for release?

What features are being planned for the release?

Thanks

Nothing has been anounced officially so it's all guessing. You can find

Yeah, suggestion is to have full IMAP support in Outlook. Shouldn't
somebody be able to make a plugin that would give better Imap integration?
Even OE is better than Outlook, and OE is free, while Outlook costs Hundreds
in the office package...

Suggestion Microsoft: Improve IMAP support in Outlook in a service pack, at
least use the same IMAP engine that OE uses. Zheesh.

While Outlook's implementation of IMAP isn't perfect, it is a "full"
version.

Writing transports is difficult - so don't look for a plug-in, especially a
free one. it won't use the OE engine as they are two different products
written by two different program groups...

Outlook retail standalone price is ~$109 = not hundreds. You can find it
online retail for about $80.
