No attachments when using dist list.

I have about 100 contacts in a distribution list. When i
mail an attachment to this list although they all get the
message not all of the contacts receive the attachment.
It is not the same contacts every time,normally about
20/30 contacts don't receive the attachment.
Is this down to a corrupt dist list?
