No graphics in body of message. Why?

When I download e-mail using Outlook, I've noticed that no graphics,
such as banners, ads, etc., are appearing in the body of the message.
All that is in the window(s) where these things should be appearing
are red "x"'s. How do I correct this so that I can get these graphics.
Apparently these are not being downloaded or something. How do I
correct this?

Thanks,
Mark

these are html pages hosted on a website somewhere, when
you send/receive email you must remain connected to the
internet to view these kind of emails. if you disconnet
from the internet and then try to view them the html page
will be unable to load the graphics from the website.

I am connected through a cable modem. Still the graphics will not
appear. I had this same problem with Outlook Express and simply by
going to options and then security and then unchecking "Do not allow
attachments to be opened or saved that could potentially be a virus"
the problem was solved. I don't see that same option in Outlook, or am
I missing something?

Thanks,
