Ask them if they have a domain controller, It would be a server. Ask
them for the address of that server and put that in the LDAP server
field.
You can't have active directory (AD) and not have a domain server. It
will be different from the exchange server although I guess it could be
the same box.
Now, LDAP is on by default on an Windows 2000 AD server but they
could turn it off. If they did you are screwed. But, if microsoft stick to
its plans then at some point you Admin will have no choice but to turn
it on.
What going one here? Well MS is using the Exchange Entourage update
to try to push it AD plans, thus no MAPI support . In doing so they have
made. The problem is most admins. like the old exchange way of doing
things and our not hot to support it.
