No movie through S-video connection

I need to make a PowerPoint presentation using a clip
I've edited from MovieMaker. It plays fine on my laptop,
but when I try to play it though an S-Video cable to the
back of a big screen TV there is NO movie. The entire
PowerPoint plays perfect--all the jpegs and font does
what it should, but I can't get the movie view on the big
screen? Shows on the laptop, but won't travel to the big
screen? Anyone got the answer?

Dan

Send an email if you think you know--but hurry--got have
an answer within 24 hours!!

Have you set the machine to dual monitors? My video card requires a further
setting to specify that the secondary monitor is a TV, if I'm using the
S-Video out port. You might want to explore Display Settings > Settings >
Advanced > Displays.

Thanks! That was it!! I needed to go into the control
panel and change the display--works perfectly!! Funny how
simple things can be when you know how!!!

What is the brand and model of laptop?
Seems like your system can't handle the video overlay on
both screens. Try toggling your video output to external
monitor only so you see nothing on the laptop and image
only on the TV.......TD
