No "Options" tab on my account - I need to uncheck "send toserver simultaneously" but I have no such

I'm using Entourage V.X to connect to an Exchange server account. Every once
in a while, when trying to send a message, I get error -2171. I looked it up
at

http://www.entourage.mvps.org/accounts/imap_option.html

and saw that I had to uncheck the "Send commands to server simultaneously"
option on the Options tab in the account. The Microsoft office Help in my
Entourage client agrees. The problem is, when I hit "edit" on my account,
there is no "Options" tab! The window shown in the URL above shows tabs for
"Account Settings", "Options", "Advanced", and "Security". Mine shows
instead "Account Settings", "Mail", "Directory", and "Advanced". There is no
"Options" and none of the other tabs say anything about this simultaneous
option. What's going on? Why does my window not match what the Entourage's
own Help text and this URL say? Where can I find this option to uncheck it?

Is your account set up as an IMAP account or an Exchange account?

well, I see it listed under the Mail tab in Accounts, but the icon has a
little arrow on it, like a link. It's also listed under the Exchange tab
(with no arrow on the icon). I guess it's set up as an Exchange account. But
whichever one it is set up as, it seems to succumb to this "simultaneous
commands" problem, so there should be a way to uncheck it. Am I missing this
menu somewhere?
