No Product Key for Office 2003

Alex

I recently purchased a new laptop, a toshiba A75 which came with office 2003
onit, but when i go to open any of the applications it asks me for the
product key, which i dont have. I cant find it anywere in the documentation i
recieved with the product, and there is no certificate of authenticity on the
bottom of the machine like there is for windows XP. I was wondering if i can
purchase a new product key from somewere or a license or if there is just
someway i can get Office working.

Cheers

Maybe it was a trial copy, for which the trial period has expired.
In which case you iether have to purchase via MS on line or preferably
source the Office suite elsewhere, probably at a better rate.

If this is brand new, chances are you are looking at the trial version. I've
been told the number you need for the trial period is on the envelope that
your Works CD is in.

(I'd recommend uninstalling the trial version, buying your Office from
Amazon.com, install that, and be done with it.)

It doesnt say anywere that it is a trial version, but i guess it may well be
as it is a new compuer. I may just uninstall and purchase a new copy as there
is only one DVD that came with the computer and there is no mention of
product keys anywere on it. It does include one note, and seems to be a full
version, but i dont know. Jus thought if it was a full version seemed daft to
buy another one.
