No Prompt for Duplex Printing

My computer has stopped prompting me to reinsert the paper for duplex
printing. Without the prompt, I can't select continue (which is in the dialog
box on the monitor screen!) My printer (HP Officejet) becomes locked up and I
have to restart my computer to free up the document in my printer queue. I
then have to print back to back manually, which can get pretty funky!!! What
can I do to get my computer to start prompting me again while duplex
printing?????? HELP!!!!!
