They're not from yourself. They're spam - known as "phishing" when they use
your own address (or address of some correspondent who has you in their
address book). Someone else is sending you (and maybe other people) these
messages, hoping to make it through any anti-spam filters you may have by
pretending to be you, and possibly hoping to report confirmation that your
email address is "live" to spammers who might be paying them for the
information. Entourage knows about these, and therefore treats email from
your own email address as Junk, and - unlike messages from other people in
your address book - will not "download pictures" from HTML mail
automatically even if you have that preference for members of your address
book. (It's these web-linked "downloaded pictures" that can disguise
phishing attempts to verify your email address, even when there are no
pictures. These phishing attempts won't work automatically in Entourage, and
you're not going to manually "download pictures" for sure when there aren't
any.) They're harmless on the Mac - just ignore and delete these messages.
(On Windows they sometimes might also contain a virus that can invade
people's address books in Outlook Express and/or Outlook, which propagate
more of these emails to everyone in the address book, and so on. There are
no ways to date that these or similar viruses can work on Macs, and
definitely not Entourage in particular.)
