I have saved messages in Office format i.e. .msg. How do I open these in
Entourage? Please help
You mean Outlook format. Nothing but Outlook can open .msg files. You'll
have to go back to Outlook and import them back there. Then find another way
to export them.
If there are just a small number of such messages, open Outlook Express
(Windows) and import your Outlook mail there. Exporting the messages form
Outlook Express will produce .eml files. Those cam be brought over to your
Mac and just dragged in to an Entourage folder.
If you have masses of messages it might be neater to bring them over as mail
folder files, via Mozilla or Outlook Express/Eudora. There are descriptions
of how to do that on the website in my signature. But .eml files would be
more faithful to keeping attachments. The easiest way is if you have an IMAP
or Exchange account: just drag the messages to folders on the server and you
can access them in the same account in Entourage directly.
I also need to learn where my ³out of office auto reply² in Entourage is?

Tools/Rules/New/. Set the Action to Reply, then click Reply TextŠ button.
To work, you have to leave Entourage open with regular Send & Receive
functioning. It's usually better to do this on your ISP's website instead.
