Not able to access emails on pop account

I work six months in the U.S. and 6 month in the UK. When I am in the U.S. I have no problem whatsoever accessing my emails using Entourage.

However, when I am back in the UK it becomes very spasmodic meaning sometime I can access but most times it times out and errors. Then the only way I can access my emails is via mail2web dot com.

This problem is also shared by all my work colleagues in the office back in the UK. As they don't come to the U.S. I don't know if the same would true for them.

Do you make any changes to your SMTP? It could very well be that it is
timing out.

Have you considered forwarding to Gmail and download via Gmail?
