Not able to add a contact

When I am trying to add a contact, when i reach phone number field, i am
getting a dialog box asking for dialup information to connect to the contact.
I am connected to the internet thru my LAN. Pl. any solution.

Outlook still needs to know your dialing location so it can format the phone
number. Have you told it?
