Not able to delete a Specific Email

I use Microsoft Entourage for my email. When I open the program, I
have a specific email in my inbox that I can't delete. I can open the
email and close the email properly. However, I can't move it to
another folder or delete it. Every time I try to delete the message,
the highlight that is on the message that I delete just moves up to the
next message and does nothing with the message I tried deleting. It is
just sitting in my inbox and I can't do anything with it and I want to
delete it.

The wierd thing is when I open my email from the mac.com website and
look at my inbox, the same message that I can't delete in Entourage
doesn't show up in the inbox.

How or what can I do to delete the message in my inbox?

The inbox you can see in Entourage does not always reflect the inbox on the
server, as Entourage creates a cached version of that IMAP inbox. Sometimes,
messages do not get deleted properly, i.e. they get removed from the server
but remain stuck in Entourage's cache.

The solution: right-click (ctrl-click) your inbox in Entourage's folder
list, then select Repair Message List from the contextual menu. If that
doesn't help, select Empty Cache from that same menu, and Entourage will
re-download the messages from the .Mac servers and simultaneously get rid of
any stray messages.
