Techno-geek seeking higher power who can explain how to send a web page
in an email via Entourage.

I've tried it from Firefox and Safari to no avail. I've deleted IE off
my Mac OSX system and have no desire to put it back. Any way to use
Entourage to send a web page (not just a link). I have a large graphic
to send and have posted it versus sending it as an attachment. I can do
this from work very easily, why can't it be easy with Entourage?

What you're looking for is the ability to send complex HTML (graphics
and text with embedded links, etc.). Entourage will only allow you to
create simple HTML (you can insert pictures and added colored and
justified text but you can't embed links).

The solution is to use Microsoft Word to created your complex HTML and
then use it's File --> Send To --> Mail Recipient (as HTML)... feature.
This will transfer your complex HTML into a new Entourage mail message
ready for you to address and send. Do note that you won't be able to
modify your mail message. If you need to make changes you'll have to
edit in Word and resend.

Hope this helps! bill

Another alternative would be Paul Berkowitz's free AppleScript Send Complex
HTML X, which can be found here:
<http://scriptbuilders.net/files/sendcomplexhtmlx2.1.html> This script
allows you to use an already existing HTML file and send it via Entourage;
instructions can be found in the read me file that comes with the script.

If you just want to send a graphic, just drag the image into an HTML message
or use Insert under Message in the menu bar. If you try this with a plain
text message it will attach the image to the message. It helps to resize the
image so you don't go over your limit for message size.
