"Not Connected" message Entourage 2008

Went to bed last night everything was fine, this a.m. both my exchange account and POP account show (Not Connected") next to the folder and I am not getting email.

So far I have
1. Restarted Entourage
2. Restarted the Computer
3. Checked to to see if I can use browser (which I can)
4. Ran terminal and ping'd the exchange server and also the the server name (which I can)

So why is it not connected?

Check to make sure "Work Offline" isn't checked in the Entourage menu.

Try connecting to your POP3 account manually - choose "Send & Receive" from
the Tools menu and poll that account.

Sorry, found out that Exchange "service" was down on the server so even though I could ping the server IP and name with the service down is was all down. I'm bad...
