Not receiving a copy email sent to my address

D

Dion Gunson

I am not that computer savvy and am at a loss as to why i no longer
receive a copy of an email back to my inbox when i send out to several
addresses inc myself. The other recipients have rec'd them ok?
I have a separate ISP to domain host and think i have set up Account
Settings okay - i have tried speaking to both but have not. to my
mind, got anywhere.
The starngle thing is that it all worked fine until a few weeks ago -
i have upgraded recently to Entourage 2004
any ideas?

Is it possible that your returning message is being caught by a junk mail
filter? Either the in-built one or your ISPs?

Incoming mail from yourself to yourself is a pretty good indicator of spam -
in fact, it happens so often that Entourage's normal behaviour of not
marking as spam any message from an address in your address book is
deliberately de-activated for any message from an address in your 'Me'
contact.

I use a rule to make sure this doesn't happen, see here for details:
