So far in Entourage 2004 I cannot receive emails with a "+" or a "&" in the
subject heading. This is extraordinarily bad. My company's name has a "+"
in it. All junk filters are off. I cannot find any settings relating to this
issue.
If I open my old version of Entourage X it shows up with no problems.
What do you mean "can't receive"?? Where do they go? Into your Junk E-mail
folder? I can't believe that they just evaporate. Do they stay on the
server, or what?
If they get filtered as junk then all you'd have to do would be to make a
rule in Tools/Rules/. Choose POP or IMAP or Exchange correctly for the rule,
then click New.
<if ANY criteria are met>
If
Subject contains +
Subject contains &
Then
Change status to Not junk e-mail
If that ends up allowing too much spam in, you'd need to make a better rule:
If
Subject contains <part of your company name containing + >
Then
Change status to Not junk e-mail
I've never heard of messages staying on the server non-downloaded because
they contain a "+" or "&". If that's what's happening what's your evidence?
