not remembering password

entourage has stopped remembering my password, no matter how many times I
click the remember password button. any ideas?

Same here, starting just now when I reverted to my desktop after using my
laptop for a couple of days. I'm using Entourage X with OS X 10.2.6. Before
reverting, I copied my Office X identities folder from the laptop back to
the desktop. Is it possible that I inadvertently replaced something that I
shouldn't have?

It's maddening, because I have it set to check my mail once every 10 mins.,
and every time it asks again. I've tried recording it in the Account
settings, but that doesn't seem to take either. I've also tried (1) quitting
E'rage, (2) logging out, and (3) restarting, all to no avail.

I assume it's a coincidence that Adam has had the same problem at the same
time -- and that it's not a global, preprogrammed deterioration of the
application!

Download Keychain First Aid from VersionTracker. You almost certainly have
some corruption in your keychain - it's not uncommon

Thanks. It didn't work when I tried to use it while running Entourage (i.e.,
the problem persisted), but when I quit Entourage, ran the program, and
relaunched Entourage, the problem was gone.

Mind you, I don't understand why this sort of keychain corruption happens
(to the point of being "common"!), or if it does, why it can't be fixed
automatically, but that's probably beyond the scope of the discussions here.

Now I look forward to a day without nagging prompts!
