notes in calendar

I run a MacG4/400/OSX 10.3.2
I run Entourage v. 10.1.4
I use the Calendar to track meetings etc.,etc. On the day of or after an
event I want to place a note in the item.
After clicking up the item it is impossible to enter, even after saying
yes to a change to this item only, any notes.
Why is this and have I missed something or is there a work-around?

It seems you can only edit start time of a single instance of a recurring
event. It does not make much sense that you can't edit individual notes, I
agree. If you want to edit the note, you'll have to edit All, and include a
date stamp, I guess.

1/10/04 : Came to blows.
1/17/04: Made up.

And so on. Not very user-friendly. Send a request to Microsoft.

You are the first, and only, person who admitted that it is impossible.
So much for user friendly. What is the sense of a calendar if one cannot
keep records of items???

I will send MS a note.
