(Nothing important)Anybody else annoyed by the paper clip, but....

Is anybody else really annoyed by the paper clip, but doesn't mind any of the
other office assistants? Maybe I'm weird, but for some reason, the paper clip
annoys me, but if I choose the dog, or the cat, or the robot, or the wizard,
or whatever else, it doesn't bother me. Anybody else agree?

Okay, I spoke too soon. I like to change my assistant every so often for the
sake of variety. I just chose the wizard today and he annoys me too. Most of
the times, when I right click him and choose "animate" he just stares at me.
At least the cat, dog, and robot do something interesting. So far, they are
the only ones I've used.

For those interested, if some of the assistants annoy you and the ones you've
grown sick of the ones you can tolerate, I found a site where you can
download others.

http://www.msagentring.org/

There were some other sites too, but I don't remember them. I think you can
actually find them from the above site, though. I've tried a few of these.
Some of them kinda seem to stink when it comes to animations. It seems like,
when you right click them and select animate, they just stare at you. You
would think it would just keep looping through and doing one of its
animations when you ask it to.

You mean the "looping" animations they have are the only ones that will play
if you right click and select animate? That is so corny! Wait, though... I've
downloaded ones that said they had 0 looping animations, and they'd still do
something on rare occassion when I clicked animate. Usually they'd just stare
at me, but occassionally, they did an animation. Usually, they'd just repeat
the same two or three even though they supposedly have many.

I'm curious... What is the difference between a looping animation and any
other animation when it comes to the Office Assistants? For example, when the
assistant becomes animated, what would the looping animation do diferently
from a regular animation? Are the looping ones supposedly the only ones that
work when you right click and select "animate?"
