When using VBA to populate photos on a form (imgXX.Picture = C:\ABC\1101.jpg),
I get a flashing notice which doesn't dwell long enough to be readible and
which is distracting, especially when multiple pictures are involved. I also
suspect that it slows down the process. Is there a command in VBA or a
property setting for the Image Box to get rid of this phenomenon?

Many thanks

Did you look at the Registry File from Tom Wickerath for some ideas? I've
used it and it works for me in acXP.

Thanks .... Have reset the Registry JPEG ShowDialog Option to No but the
problem still persists. Any other ideas? (Access 2003).
I had made the changes myself ... Now, thanks to your advice, I've used the
Utility from TW and it works. Obviously I'd do better to stay away from the
Registry! Many thanks.
