NotifyAlert.exe - Common Language Runtime

Hi There...whenever I open Word I receive the following error:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0xcb4(3252) Thread id=0xdb4(3508)

I am currently running Win XP pro and Office XP SP2. Does anybody have any
suggestions on what might be causing this problem.
