Novice to asp.net

Hello
I am using Frontpage 2003 with asp.net, I created a sample database via FP wizard using asp.net and it works. I am using Jim Buyens great big book at it got me this far without me pulling out my hair out

However, I can't get MY database to work, the results page shows my form fields but my form wont update the database and wont show the conformation page. Is my form not connigured for .net or is my database connection not accepting the form info. Or is the problem within my results page.
I dont' suppose this is the type of question that can be answered without knowing how Its set up. Any clues or bugs associated with this process or as to what I'm could be doing wron
Thanks
Rober

Try putting 'your' database into the same folder that was created by
FrontPage when you used FrontPage to create the sample database
you referred to. Attempt to read and edit your database which will
probably now be successful because the folder where your database
now exists had its proper permissions created and applied by FrontPage.

If this test works out simply put your database back into whatever folder
you want and apply the same permissions to that folder that FrontPage
applied to the folder FrontPage created for the sample database.

Make sense?

It should work as permissions on files are 'sposta' be inherited
from the folder they are located in. At least you should study the
permissions on the folder created by FrontPage as it will show you
what you need to create when doing the work without relying on
push-buttons.
