below is, what works for word 2008. it does not, however for entourage... or does it? if so, what do i do wrong? reply in german also welcome by newbiemac
I can't add a line to a list without bullets or numbers appearing.
Show All
Cause: Each line in the list ends with a paragraph mark.
Solution: End the previous line in the list with SHIFT+RETURN and then add a new line.
When you format a list to have bullets and numbering, Word adds bullets or numbers to each paragraph. When you press RETURN at the end of a line, the next line becomes a new paragraph.
Solution: Replace the paragraph markThe nonprinting symbol (Paragraph mark) that Word inserts when you press RETURN at the end of a paragraph. The paragraph mark stores the formatting that you apply to a paragraph. at the end of each line - before the lines you want to appear without a bullet or number - with SHIFT+RETURN.
When you format a list to have bullets and numbering, Word adds bullets or numbers to each paragraph. When you press RETURN at the end of a line, the next line becomes a new paragraph.
