O2004 SR2: "Download Pictures" still not working?

I always choose to "Display complex HTML in messages" and I certainly would
choose to download pictures by default, if such an option existed in E2004.

Currently, I get messages that show placeholders among bits of text. When I
choose to "download pictures", I get a totally BLANK message!

Does anyone else suffer this?

I believe that the only option is to ask Entourage to automatically
download pictures for e-mails sent by people in your address book. I
receive e-TOC for scientific journals by e-mail once in a while aand I
simply added the address they use to send me the mail in my address book
so that Entoruage could download the images for these specific mails
automatically. So far it has been working rather well :)

Do you perhaps have Tools | Accounts, Options set to "partially receive"
messages over a certain size? At a guess, that could account for blank
messages.

More importantly, make sure your internet connection is active and also that
the Entourage > Work Offline option is unchecked.
